On September 22, 2024, Nepal’s gold market reached a new all-time high, with the price of fine gold rising to Rs. 1,58,800 per tola, up from Rs. 1,57,100 the previous day, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA). Tejabi gold also surged, now priced at Rs. 1,58,100 per tola, reflecting a Rs. 1,700 increase. This follows a peak on September 16, when fine gold reached Rs. 1,57,300 per tola. Silver prices also climbed slightly, reaching Rs. 1,920 per tola, up Rs. 5 from the previous day.
